Ireland weather: Mild Christmas conditions forecast to turn dramatically colder

Relatively mild and settled conditions to continue until the weekend

Ireland is currently experiencing a mild, warm Christmas with temperatures well above average, but this is expected to change dramatically after New Year's Eve. A cold front moving in from the North will bring colder temperatures starting on New Year's Eve.
